Raquel has been practising law in the United Kingdom since 1998. Admitted to the roll in 2001, she has had the pleasure of working for several legal 500 law firms nationwide. Her client portfolio include 40 NHS Trusts, several of the UK’s largest residential and commercial property developers, a commercial airline, several Midland’s based Housing Associations and a world renowned national theatre company.
On qualification as a solicitor, Raquel specialised in employment law for several years.
In 2004, she went on to practice property law, an area she has been passionate about since studying various aspects of it at masters level in London.
Raquel is currently working towards the study of PhD.
In addition to the usual skills you would expect of a lawyer of her calibre, Raquel lectures and writes for various publications. Her consultancy services include locum services nationwide and she is available to provide particular advice to law firms on department restructure, implementation of case management and time recording systems (including precedent provision), quality accreditation (such as Lexcel and ISO) and marketing methodology.
Raquel believes that managing and meeting client expectations and a happy team are the key to delivering a successful legal service. She is dynamic and innovative in her approach and strives to provide full and frank advice expeditiously and considers it crucial to drive matters forward and keep clients fully updated of her progress irrespective of the contentious or non-contentious nature of the work she is undertaking.
