Property Law Locum Services Raquel
first became interested in property law whilst studying land law as part
of her common professional examinations. She went on to major in property
law whilst studying for her masters in London. She has extensive knowledge
of residential development property law and residential conveyancing.In 2004, she was recruited to head up a residential development team of five plot sales lawyers and their respective support staff, representing several of the most prolific residential developers in the UK. In 2005, Raquel Accepted the position of Head of Office, managing and developing the Surrey satellite office of a south eastern based legal 500 law firm, where she published several articles on the issue of HIPS. Raquel’s experience includes the sale and purchase of high value residential registered and unregistered leasehold and freehold titles, flying freeholds, maisonettes, drafting and negotiation of s106, s104 and s38 agreements, sewer easements, deeds of covenant, deeds of variation, commercial leases, development agreements (in particular golden brick), residential leases and option agreements, the purchase of footprint freeholds, collective enfranchisement and variation of leases. Raquel also has extensive knowledge and experience of residential property law including the deduction of unregistered and registered titles, sale and purchase of leasehold, flying freehold, maisonette, right to buy, shared ownership and freehold properties of high net value, new build sale and purchase leasehold and freehold properties, Deeds of Grant, Deeds of Surrender, Collective enfranchisement and variations to leasehold interests. Having undertaken work for several housing associations, Raquel is live to the issues surrounding acquisition, development and plot sales for registered social landlords and is experienced in preparing the sales packages for disposal of affordable housing in relation to shared ownership, right to buy, right to acquire and the leasehold scheme for the elderly. Raquel has a very unique and imaginative approach to marketing property law services. She has experience of using videss and eclipse case management systems, peapod solution proforma and Land Registry Direct, TM and Searchflow search systems.
